One piece of advice that I got from other C-section moms was "You gotta get out and get moving to get better." Sometimes easier said than done..but with a new baby you are kinda forced from day one to get out of bed and get moving. I really believe this has been the BEST advice for recovery. I do feel so much better since they have been treating the anemia from surgery and Lance has done such a great job sharing all the new-baby chores:)
Lance is busy studying for the bar but we manage to do at least one thing outside the house everyday. Sometimes that means a walk in the dog park or a trip to the grocery store...but whatever we do...I do feel stronger everyday and it makes me feel sane to see the real world outside of timed feedings and dirty diapers! Henry usually naps on our outings but hopefully is getting used to getting out of the house.

We did get a chance to take Henry to Costco...one of our most favorite hangouts! Since I found out I was pregnant, we had been looking forward to the day we could take our little guy there. Our plan was in and out as fast as possible..which we accomplished...The reason being that the carseat took up so much of the cart that we didn't have that much room left for the lifetime supply of groceries:) Henry slept through the whole experience..but Lance and I were glowing with pride!
Yesterday, we took Henry to Chipotle...another favorite! Again, he slept through the whole experience...but we managed to snap a few shots.
We are working on a "schedule" right now...which is easier said than done. Henry is definitely a night owl...and has yet to figure out how much fun he is missing during the day. Lance is determined to change this quickly and will resort to the funniest tricks to wake Henry up during the day...I will try to capture the silly noises and faces he makes!

I did capture this shot of Henry....toooo sweet! The great thing about him sleeping during the day is that I can play photographer...
I wanna go to the dog park (and maybe ONE day I will have a dog for Sav's enjoyment)!!!!!! Keep the pics coming. They make my day!
