Yesterday, Henry had his first real trip out of the house. Unfortunately for him...the trip was to the doctors for his checkup. Henry's doctor is Dr. Simpson at Vestavia Pediatrics and he is wonderful! Everything went great until it was time to stick his foot for the blood test. He did okay but when the nurse started squeezing his foot, Henry let her know he was not a happy camper. Henry got a A+ from the doctor specially when it came to weight gain...our little man already weighs 8 lbs and 8 oz! So much for just regaining his birth weight in 2 weeks...Henry has already gained 1 lb 3 oz since birth!

After we got home, Aunt EE and Baby Gia came over for a visit! I still can't believe we are mommies. It feels like only yesterday we started dental school and now we are done with school and have little babies. I know that our kiddos will be great friends just like their mommies!!
