Where it all began...

Well I can officially say that Cooking with the Masters, our culinary blog, has been a complete failure. Don't get me wrong...we tried out the recipes, we ate the food, we had tons of thoughts...they just never made it to the blog. Thus, Lance and I have ended our attempt to diary our kitchen experiences and have started a new blog....a blog about us. This blog will definitely have cooking involved no doubt....but since our lives are ever changing, the blog will follow our everyday lives. Soooo....I will start at the beginning......

Lance and I met at Birmingham-Southern College about 10 years ago, dated, got engaged, got married, and now live/work/school in Birmingham with our dog, Savannah. Here is how it all went down....

Met at BSC.....

Got engaged in Savannah and married in Gadsden,

Honeymooned in Italy,

Got a dog...Savannah,

Cooked...a lot....

Traveled....as much as we could.....

Spend most of our free time on the Gulf Coast!

and have a funny kind of love for Brangus cattle....

Now we live in Birmingham..Lance is busy finishing up law school at Samford and I'm a dentist. After five years of wedded bliss, we feel the next logical step are babies...right?? Sooo we are planning to have one of our own....this April in fact!!! Hopefully this blog will allow our friends and family to follow our lives as we live it....

I didn't know yall went to Stonehenge. That's a weird place. How do you think the stones got there? We saw a show which said it was a landing pad for alien ships...

Jeff and I are thrilled to being blessed with our first grandchild, a little boy - Henry! We are counting down the weeks until he makes his entry into this world!
