Five Months Old

Wow! It has been about a month since I updated.  We have been so busy lately and any free time has been spent sleeping;)  Henry is changing so much everyday and growing so fast.  At five months, he weighed 17 lbs 3 oz! He has started on rice cereal and has had sweet peas a few times.  And no complaints there, this boy never says no to food!!

He can roll over to his belly and back again with ease.  He has just started to crawl..well scoot...backwards.  He loves to play "where's henry?" (our version of peek-a-boo) and he loves chasing after Savannah...well he loves me holding him as we chase Savannah.  He can take his pacifier out of his mouth and put it back, although he really doesn't use it often.  He loves chewing on Sophie the giraffe and his crunchy elephant. 

He still laughs at his own squeals and still doesn't enjoy watching TV.  In particular, he doesn't like cartoons.  The only shows he will pay attention to and somewhat enjoy are the evening news and Big Brother (which is now done for the year)..so now we are down to Fox News! Just like Daddy:) I think he just likes seeing "real" people.

He is consistently sleeping from 9pm until 6:30am...except for the past two nights..but that is probably due to our crazy lives right now.  Henry is starting to love the baby einstein activity jumper which is great to entertain him while I'm trying to get things done. He is really a happy baby and loves to laugh and smile at everyone.  He does get upset if you pretend to cry.  I learned that the hard way one night when I did that and he bawled for about 15 minutes!! It was sooo sad. 

On a side but very important note, Lance passed the bar..whaahooo!! So its official..Lance can start practicing!
