Beach time again!

Last weekend, Aunt Shelley came to the beach with us.  What a great weekend to go! The beaches were empty and we basically had the pool to ourselves.  Henry loved the pool this time and even let out a few laughs in his new 'alien' float.  Grammy Darlene babysat while Shelley, Lance, and I headed to the beach.  We made a couple of interesting friends and Lance even caught a couple of crabs. 

Shelley got a great pic of some dolphins hanging out in the gulf.  We had some great seafood and tried out a new pizza place that replaced the old Snapper's lounge on Canal.  It was delicious and basically within walking distance from our condo.  A great find!

On Saturday, Lance went fishing with his dad so the gals took Henry shopping.  He did great and we made it back in time to watch the guys clean up there catch.  We turned that catch into a blackened fish and cheesy grits dinner.  Yummy!!!

We got a few more hours of the pool before heading back on sunday.  We were so thankful for the fabulous weather but were constantly monitoring the Hurricane Irene situation.  Lance and I were just visiting family in the area that was directly affected.  Although we were thankful we went the previous weekend instead running into Irene we were praying for no damage for our family there.  We won't be headed to the beach next weekend for labor day.  We are looking forward to a weekend at home, not living out of a suitcase, and working on Henry's schedule!!!
