A bit behind in blogging, but a quick catch up. A couple of weekends ago, Lance and I took Henry to Smoke on the Falls at Noccalula Falls. It was a Kansas City barbecue festival and there were hundreds of competitors. Funny thing..we didn't get to actually try their barbecue. Henry had a great time but wasn't feeling too great so we left early.
We did pick up a snow cone...my favorite!
Rainbow City was having their annual Chocolate Festival so we stopped by there to check things out. Funny...we never found any chocolate! That was kinda the theme for the weekend:) We DIDfind art at the Gadsden Museum of Art however. The Plein air art festival comes around this time of year and the paintings are fabulous! Artists from around the country paint landmarks and homes around our county and then display them at the museum for purchase. So much talent!
Saturday night, Lance and I went with our friends Jay and Claire to the Character's production..Titanic. So much fun to support local theater.
Busy busy weekend but so much fun!! If you were in Gadsden thatweekend..there was no shortage of activities:)
