Lately at the Smith House

This past week or so has been SUPER hectic here at the Smith House.  Full of fun times but definitely not 'relaxing'. One big event...Henry has a Godmother!  Henry chose Aunt Shelley to be his Godmother.  Last Sunday, he popped the big question!
Henry found this beautiful Blue Diamond Orchid as a gift for his sweet Aunt Shelley! Shelley has done so much for Baby Henry since before he was even born.  She was the first person besides Mommy and Daddy of course that new he even existed:)

And she said YES!! I know these two will have many adventures.  We will be baptizing Henry very soon and we can't wait!

Henry is growing so fast everyday.  He loves playing on his activity mat, loves laughing at Savannah, and absolutely LOVES taking a bath.  He also loves pooping in the tub...which is a completely different story (kinda gross)...but had to mention it cause this happens nightly!

BIG baby Henry is almost 14 pounds!

He loves to laugh and I am convinced he can say "hello."  Everybody doubts me until they actually hear it for themselves.  Henry loves to coo and laugh when you talk to him but when he hears me say hello he tries to imitate me.  Lance is trying to catch it on tape and I will post it when I get it:)

Henry is at his best right after his bath and before bedtime!

He is a giggle monster!

Aunt Shelley learns how important the Bjorn is to the Smith House!

Grammy came to visit this past weekend.  They had a great time together and Lance and I got our first date night out.  We kept with tradition and saw the new HarryPotter film with Lora and Nick.  I'm not gonna lie...it was fabulous getting out of the house sans bebe! But I barely made it through the previews before I was checking for texts from Grammy to make sure he was okay.
I also started working again, part-time.  I joined one of my closest and long time friends, Lora and her beautiful practice at The Narrows.  She has a wonderful and dedicated staff that I've already enjoyed working with.  It is great to be back practicing dentistry after so many months off.  It is also wonderful coming home to my chub:) My sweet mom is driving up and staying with us to take care of Henry while I work during the week.  It is such a blessing to have her here!

Going back to work has definitely made me appreciate my special time with Baby Henry even more!!
Last big thing of the week...Henry is now able to sit up in his bumpo.  He looks so grown up..it almost makes me sad! Wow how life flies by!!
